Dr. Lowell P. Romano PhD, M.D., 74 of Palmer Twp. a devoted Husband, loving Father, Grandfather & Great Grandfather passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010 in Easton Hospital.

Born: He was born on May 5, 1935 in Roseto, Pa a son of the late Nicholas and Margaret (Cistone) Romano.

Personal: Lowell was the husband of Nancy M. (Noble) with whom he celebrated 44 years of marriage this past June 29th. He was a research chemist retiring in 1998. Lowell graduated from Lafayette College in 1956 with Phi Beta Kappa honors and went on to receive his MD and PhD from the University of Pennsylvania.

Memberships: He was a member of St. Anthonys of Padua Catholic Church where he served as the choir director several years ago.

Survivors: wife; daughters Kristen Gardiner and her husband Jim of Bethlehem and Toni Anne Romano of Stroudsburg; grandchildren; Heather, Maggie, and Sean and great granddaughter Laila.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10AM in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th and Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 6-8PM as well as Wednesday from 8:15AM to 9:15AM in the Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. (Palmer Twp) Easton, PA 18045. Burial will follow in St. Anthonys Cemetery, Williams Twp.
