Lucy G. Brooks, 78, of Palmer Twp., PA, a devoted wife and mother, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in St. Lukes Hospital.

Born : Lucy was born in Martins Creek, PA, a daughter of the late Luigi and Rosa Cosenzo.

Personal: Lucy and her husband, Roger Brooks, celebrated 53 years of marriage last June 27. She attended Penn State and Indiana State. She was a second grade school teacher for St. Phillips & St. James Elementary Schools.

Memberships: Lucy was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church.

Survivors: In addition to her husband, Lucy is survived by her son Bryan Brooks and wife Beth of Easton, PA; daugthers Dr. Susan McDonald and husband Dr. Jerome McDonald of Lodi, CA, Deborah Sarisky and husband Brian of Sparta, NJ; sisters Filomena Mendolera of Streetsboro, OH, Lisa Kuhn of Forks Twp.; brother Joseph Pippy Cosenza of Nazareth; and four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by brothers Anthony Tony Cosenzo, John Cosenzo and Johnny Cosenzo.

Services: Calling hours will be held on Monday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also Tuesday from 8:30 am to 9:30 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery, Lower Mount Bethel, PA.
