Madhumati Chasmawala, 84, of Phillipsburg, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Complete Care Skilled Nursing, Phillipsburg,

Born in Surat, Gujarat, India on August 6, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Laloo Bhai and Chandanebn (Noticewala) Soparjwala. She worked as a domestic engineer.

She is survived by her husband, Mahendra Shroff; son, Rakesh Shroff and wife Nila, Stewartsville; daughter, Jasmine Gandhi and husband Rajesh, Ohio; grandchildren, Ayush Shroff, Aaryan Shroff, Sneha Gandhi, Bhavya Gandhi. She also leaves behind a sister, Niruben Soparjwala; brothers, Ramsesh Soparjwala, Naresh Soparjwala, and Mahesh Soparjwala, all of India.
