Margaret M. Cunningham

Margaret M. Cunningham, 98, of Easton, PA passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at The Birches of Lehigh Valley. Born on February 27, 1928 in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Sofie) Rizzo.

She graduated from Easton High School in 1946 then advanced her education at The Advance College of Transportation. Margaret was employed as a traffic manager for Park Container and North Penn until 1992. She then was a supervisor for a daycare until her retirement in 2004. Margaret was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church and Delta Nu Alpha Traffic Club of the Lehigh Valley.

Margaret is survived by her son, Michael Palmer and his wife, Maria of Hawthorne, CA; grandchildren, Neil Roth, Morgan Kelly, Seth King, Michael Palmer; step granddaughter, Teresa Trejo; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Clayton Cunningham; daughter, Phyllis Palmieri; sisters, Concetta Vulcano, Nancy Stout, and Anna Destefano.

A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA. Interment will follow at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Green Pond Road, Easton, PA. Arrangements are entrusted to Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.)
