Margaret J. Zucchero, 85, of Forks Twp., PA, passed away peacefully with her husband and son by her side, and the loving support of the Weston staff, on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Margaret was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late John and Sebastiana Bessie Durbino. Margaret was married to her first husband Andrew Giordano before his passing, and her second husband Elias Merhi before his passing. She was a clerk for Metropolitan Insurance Co., in Easton before retiring in 1987. She was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1947. Margaret was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, where she was very active and volunteered in the church office. Margaret is survived by her husband Louis Zucchero, with whom she celebrated 19 years of marriage last August; her son John Merhi of Gaithersburg, MD; a sister Sylvia Klepeisz of Bethlehem Twp. and grandchildren Michael and Melissa. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also on Thursday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
