Maria Bruno

Maria Bruno, 88, of Palmer Twp., PA passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 16, 1937 in Verona, Italy.

Maria was employed as a seamstress at Betty Lee Dress Factory for 9 years and the co-owner of Charlie’s Bar for 10 years before retiring as a homemaker. She was a devoted mother who loved her family. You would find her singing and dancing to Italian music in the kitchen while she cooked for her family. Her treasured moments were telling stories and jokes to her family. Maria enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She loved being outdoors tending to her garden or flowers and watching the birds, always ensuring they had plenty of water in the bird bath. Maria was a devoted member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church.

Maria is survived by her son, Anthony A. Bruno of Palmer Twp.; her daughter, Rosemarie Wilkinson of Palmer Twp.; and grandchildren, Joseph Endres, David Wilkinson, and Crystal Wilkinson.
