Maria J. Gaito, 92, of Easton, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 in Brakeley Park Center, Phillipsburg, NJ.

Maria was born June 16, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the eldest daughter of the late Michael and Carmella Liquori.

Maria was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a homemaker and was always there for her family. She enjoyed gardening and especially music. Maria had a beautiful voice, and her love of singing and music was something she never grew tired of. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

In addition to her husband Dominic, Maria is survived by a daughter Joanne Donofrio and husband John of Easton; a grandson John Donofrio and wife Stephanie and grandson Gianni of Bethlehem; her sister Anne Condo of Philadelphia; a sister-in-law Phyllis Muratore and husband Joe of Delaware County; and a brother-in-law Frank of Virginia; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a son Dominic; brothers Michael, Frank, Anthony; and sister Sue.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9 ^th & Lehigh Streets, Easton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 am in the church. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Williams Twp.
