Marie C. Birmingham, 93, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, June 24, 2018 in her home.

Marie was born in Queens, NY, a daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (Scholl) Birmingham.

Marie was an Executive Secretary for U.S. Steel and later for Select magazines in Manhattan, prior to moving to PA to assume the duties as Office Manager for Easton News Company until retiring in 1997.

Marie was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church organizations, and President to the Easton Chapter of American Business Women's Association.

Marie is survived by a niece Jean Marie Gans and husband Artie and their children: Samuel, Raymond, and Janelle; a nephew Robert Birmingham and wife Cheryl and their children Joanna, Kaylah, and Grace and her husband Matt, with whom she is expecting Marie's first great-great-niece in a month. In addition to her parents, she will be joining a brother Raymond Birmingham and a nephew Nathan Birmingham in Heaven.

A calling hour will be held on Friday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm in Bethel Memorial Baptist Church, 715 Chestnut Lane, Palmer Twp. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
