Marie C. Diaz, 89, of Easton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in St. Luke's Hospital – Anderson Campus.

She was born in Carafa, Italy, a daughter of the late Joseph Guzzi and Antoniette (Urbinati) Guzzi.

Marie was married to Milton R. Diaz until his passing in 1984. She was a cashier at Laneco for many years, and Open Air Market, a family-owned produce market in Easton. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, going on walks, and was an animal lover.

She had a great love of life and family, and always greeted everyone with a big hug and her beautiful smile.

Marie was a member of St. Janes de Chantal Catholic Church, Easton.

Marie is survived by her son, Richard J. Diaz, of Palmer Twp; a daughter, Sandra Reiss and husband Robert of Palmer Twp; two grandchildren, Matthew Reiss and Dana Reiss; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by brothers, Anthony Guzzi and Louis Guzzi.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
