Marie Franco, 80, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at Manor Care Nursing Home – Easton. She was the wife of Joseph Anthony Franco with whom she celebrated 61 years of marriage with on December 30, 2017.

Born August 10, 1938 in Martins Creek, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Oresto and Mary (Ascani) Citrone.

Marie was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1956. Marie Enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren; she also enjoyed reading, traveling, crossword puzzles, cooking and ceramics.

In addition to her husband, Marie is survived by three sons, Joseph Anthony Franco, Jr. of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Christopher Charles Franco of Easton and Stephen Michael Franco and wife Snehal of Palmer Twp.; seven grandchildren, Brando Franco, Joseph A. Franco III, Benjamin Franco, Lindsey Lockwood, Christopher Joseph Franco, Pooja Peters and Stephen Franco, six great-grandchildren, Codey, Sebastian, Carlyle, River, Ethan, and Priya. She is also survived by one sister Rose Drago of Ohio. In addition to her parents, Marie is preceded in death by two sisters, Dora and Grace and four brothers, Walter, Silvio, Donald, and Richard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 10:00 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th and Lehigh St., Easton. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Williams Twp.
