Marion J. Morello, 84, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Saturday August 22, 2015 in her home surrounded by her family. Marion was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late John J. and Marion T. (Johnson) VanAllen. Marion was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1949. She was the devoted wife of the late Alfonso D. Sonny Morello who passed away in 1990. Marion dedicated her life to her husband, children, grandchildren, and to serving our community through the funeral home that she and her husband established in 1955. She was Co-Proprietor of Morello Funeral Home, until her retirement in 1999. Marion was an affiliate of the Angelic Sisters of St. Paul. Marion is survived by a son John A. Morello and wife Michele of Palmer Twp.; daughters Cathy J. Kitzhoffer and husband Ronald of Palmer Twp., Diane Manento and husband Dominick of Easton, Joan E. Brown and husband Matthew of Palmer Twp.; grandchildren Lindsey Ferrante, Meghan Foley, Nicholas Manento, Patrick Manento, Christopher Morello, Jillian Morello, and Jonathan Morello. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter Lucinda Cindy Morello in 1985; and a sister Shirley DiVietro. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and also 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm with additional calling hours on Saturday morning from 8:00 am to 9:45 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
