Mary V. Frank, 81, a longtime resident of Palmer Township, PA, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2026, at Country Meadows in Bethlehem. She was a true joy to all who knew her.
Born on April 6, 1945, in the beautiful village of Castel di Lucio, Sicily, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Caterina (Corpora) Rinaldi. Mary immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of seven, and they settled on Easton’s South Side. She graduated from Easton Area High School in 1964.
Mary loved the beach and could happily lose herself in a good book. She spent her career working with people, at the Easton Public Library and Easton National Bank, and for many years at several area ShopRite stores. She was a familiar, smiling presence in the community, and she continued to work until June 2026. In every role, Mary did more than work. She connected. In her final months, she took great comfort in the steady presence of the family and friends who were always by her side.
Mary was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church and the San Placido Society. She is survived by her sister, Josie Andresen, and her husband, Walt, of Milford, NJ; her brother, Anthony “Tony” Rinaldi, and his wife, Sharon, of Riegelsville, PA; sisters-in-law, Vancy Rinaldi of Easton, PA, Mary Rinaldi of Bethlehem Twp., PA; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James Frank; her sisters, Raffaela Rinaldi and Santa Sigismondi, along with Santa’s husband, Guido; and her brothers, Michael Rinaldi and Placido “Pat” Rinaldi.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) An additional calling hour will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Ninth and Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will follow at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Green Pond Road, Easton, PA.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s name to St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 900 Washington Street, Easton, PA 18042 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com.
Mary’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of the family, friends, and neighbors whose lives she brightened simply by being herself.
