Mary A. Merlo, 93 of Bethlehem, PA, passed away Sunday December 6, 2015 in Old Orchard Health Care Center, in Easton. She was born in Easton a daughter of the late Pietro and Frances (Lipari) Presto. Mary and her Husband, Salvatore Merlo, celebrated 41 years of marriage on June 16. She was employed as a manager at Sears in Easton for 40 years and retired in 1984. She was a graduate of Easton High School class of 1940. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Sodality. In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by three brothers: Joseph Presto and his wife Sue, of Palmer Twp., Anthony Presto and his wife Enrica, of Totawa, NJ and Vincent Presto, of Easton; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded Mary in death in addition to her parents are three brothers: Carmelo, Rocco and Philip Presto and three sisters in law: Marie, Madge and Bernadine. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an addition calling hour on Thursday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
