Mary F. Pierson, age 86, of Palmer Twp., passed away at New Eastwood Care and Rehabilitation Center on Sunday, February 23, 2014. Born: Mary was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Rosario and Josephine (Vulcano) Amato. Personal: Mary was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1945, after which she continued her education and received her Associates Degree. Mary was employed as the supervisor of Easton Hospitals IT department until her retirement. Most recently, she was employed in the billing department of Easton Cardiovascular Associates, having retired several years ago. Memberships: She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton. Survivors: Mary is survived by her daughter; Kristine Pierson Williams. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Charles, son; David, sister; Francis Schultz and a brother Joseph Amato. Services: A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 10am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th and Lehigh Streets, Easton. Interment will be held in St. Anthonys Cemetery, Williams Twp, PA. Funeral services are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
