Mary Pretopapa, 90, of Easton, PA, peacefully passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born in Easton, a daughter of the late Ceasar and Maria (Ruta) Paradiso.

Mary was married to John N. Pretopapa for 60 years, before his passing in 2005. Earlier in her life she was co-proprietor of Violet Hair Salon in Easton.

Mary was a devout member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and also a member of the Golden Age Society, and Modicani Circle.

Mary will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughters Mary Lou Lucas of Wilson Borough, Gina Pretopapa of Palmer Twp., Patricia Chavez and husband Ronald of the US Republic of the Marshall Island Kwajalein Atoll; grandchildren Scott Pretopapa, Sabrina Hendershot, Samantha Chavez, and Raquel Chavez. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sisters Millie Maltese, Sarah DiEmedio; brothers Peter and George DiGiacomo.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional hour on Thursday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
