Mary C. (Ciavarella) Re, 97, of Forks Twp., formerly of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Northampton Village Assisted Living. Mary was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, a daughter of the late Antonio and Josephine (Lopresti) Ciavarella. Mary was married to Anthony D. Re, before his passing. She was a sales clerk for Pomeroys Dress Store, before retiring in 1982. She volunteered at Easton Hospital. Mary was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Sacred Heart, Mother Cabrini Altar and Rosary Sodality, Bona Fides Club, and St. Vincent DePaul Society. Mary is survived by her sons Dominic M. Re and wife Sandra of Huntley, Ill., Anthony C. Re and wife Linda of New Bern, NC; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a sister Mary Gorhman; brothers Mike and Ben Ciavarella. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 1:00 pm in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA.
