Mary H. (Nilles) Sarisky, 79, of Easton passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hazleton on January 7, 1946 she was a daughter of the late William T. and Marian (LeGrande) Nilles.
Mary graduated from St. Gabriel High School. She married the love of her life, Bob Sarisky on June 5, 1965 and together they spent 60 years building a wonderful life together. She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church. Mary was involved in her community, volunteering her time to St. Jane's School where she taught remedial reading. She also crocheted prayer shawls for veterans. She was an avid reader and often was reading two or three books at a time. She was devoted to the Blessed Mother Mary.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Angela Duda and her husband, David; Rob Sarisky and his wife, Terri; Brian Sarisky and his wife Debbie; grandchildren JT, Matteo, Carly, and Kate; and a sister, Marian "Mimi" DiSabella and her husband, Peter.
Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert "Bobby", William "Billy", and Charles Nilles and her grandson William Sarisky.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, William Penn Hwy., Easton, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary's name may be sent to Office of Mission Advancement, Sisters of Christian Charity, 350 Bernardsville Road, Mendham, NJ 07945 (the Order of the Sisters of Christian Charity, Daughters of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Immaculate Conception was founded by Mary's relative, the Blessed Pauline von Mallinckrodt), to www.sunsetbridge.org (Mary's daughter-in-law's public charity to assist end of life individuals and their loved ones), or to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
