Mary Catherine Weiland, 73, of Forks Twp., passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 in her home.

She was born in Long Beach, California, a daughter of Ruth (Lucas) Beck and Carl Beck.

Mary enjoyed 44 happy years of marriage with her husband, Deacon Ken Weiland.

Mary graduated from Slippery Rock University with her Masters in Elementary Education. She had a certificate in Montessori education; she was a Sunday school teacher and CCD coordinator.  Throughout her life she was very active in Social Justice and Church activities.  But mostly she was a wife, a mother and a grandmother.  And she touched the hearts of anyone who encountered her.

In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by her sons, Devin A. Weiland and wife Lisa, Kieran S. Weiland and wife Christine, and Conan R. Weiland; a sister, Rose Kutlenios and husband John; a brother, Ray Beck and wife Diane; and a granddaughter, Victoria Weiland, and her mother who will be 103 years old at the end of the month.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Easton, PA.
