Matilda "Tillie" Trapani, 96, formerly of Easton, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 in Kirkland Village, Bethlehem, PA. She was born in Easton, daughter of the late Raymond and Anna Embardino. Matilda was married to her beloved husband the late Samuel J. Trapani for 67 years.

Matilda was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. She loved music, Broadway shows and was an excellent cook. Cooking for family and friends was her passion and expression of love when they visited from near and far. She adored her family, extended family and friends and especially enjoyed hosting parties and family celebrations. Anyone who sat at her table was welcomed and sure to get a great meal, excellent cup of coffee and lots of love and laughter.

She is survived by a son Angelo Trapani and wife Shirin of Mendham, NJ; daughters Sandra Harding and husband Bruce of Spring Hill, FL, Anne Anthony of Phoenixville, PA, Christina Mueller and husband Joseph of Bonita Springs, FL; grandchildren Samuel, Philip, Christopher, Sarah, TJ, Kevin, Samantha and Taylor; great-grandchildren Caden, Brayden, Aden, Jude, Jake, Liv and Lux. She is also survived by her sister Kathryn Edinger of Easton.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 23, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicolas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 24 at 10:30 am at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp., PA.
