Matthew Mike Celia, 84, of Emmaus, PA, formerly of Easton, PA, passed away peacefully at home, on Friday, April 22, 2016.

Mike was born in West Easton, a son of the late Anthony and Leonora (Gualano) Celia.

Mike was married to the former RoseMarie Csizmar, with whom he celebrated 65 years of marriage last September 9. He was former owner of Mikes Lawn Mower Service of Easton, was employed by Easton Trouser Co., and the City of Easton Water Department, from where he retired in 1985.

Mike was a member and former Usher at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, and past President of Wilson Borough Democratic Club for many years.

In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by a daughter Jean Celia and husband Mike Test of Salem, OR; a son Dr. Michael Celia and wife Dr. Lin Ferrand of Princeton, NJ; a son-in-law Gary Gordon of Allentown; grandsons Christopher Gordon of Allentown, PA, Jeremy Gordon and wife Jessica of Nazareth, PA; great-grandchildren Brody Gordon, Sadie Gordon; and a sister Sue Jessamine of Phillipsburg, NJ. He is preceded in death by a daughter Karen Gordon.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
