Melissa A. Sacco-Filaseta, 49, of Orefield, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in her home.

Melissa was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of Salvatore and Elizabeth Anne (Mauro) Sacco of Bethlehem Twp.

Melissa was married to Gary Filaseta, with whom she celebrated 23 years of marriage last December.  She received her Associates Degree from Northampton Community College in General Studies.  Melissa was a Patient Account Representative for St. Luke's Hospital Network for 25 years.

In addition to her husband and parents, Melissa is survived by her sisters Deidre Hakimi and husband Gino of Forks Twp., Laura Bartolacci and husband Raymond Bartolacci III; maternal grandmother Elizabeth Mauro; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Kirk and Gina Thelander; sister-in-law Michelle Majewski; brother-in-law Alan Filaseta; nieces and nephews Layla, Salvatore, Raymond IV, Lorenzo, Eva, Mia, Erik, Jennifer McCauley and her husband Justin, Michael Majewski and his wife Lauren, Alana and Jared.  Melissa was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Vincenzo and Francesca Sacco and her maternal grandfather Joseph Mauro.
