Obituary

Name: Michael S. Gerbino, 86, formerly of Easton passed away Saturday March 13th, 2010 in Gracedale. Born: Michael was born on June 8th, 1923 in Easton a son of the late Joseph and Nettie Zammatore Gerbino. Personal: Michael served as a Ranger in the US Army during WWII in The European Theater where he was wounded in action while fighting in France. He was awarded a Purple Heart and a French Medal. He worked for many years at Sanco Piece and Dye works and later for the Easton Express, where he retired from several years ago. Memberships: He was a longtime member of Safety First Volunteer Fire Company, the Fleas and the West Easton AA. Survivors: Michael is survived by his sons Thomas of NY, John of Bangor; daughter Rita Gaughran of Forks Twp.; sister Marie and brother in law John Grube; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a brother Thomas. Services: A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM in the Morello Funeral Home Inc. 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) immediately followed by a graveside service in St. Anthonys Cemetery, Williams Twp.
