Michael K. Piperata, 60, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 23, 2020 in St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus.
Michael was born in Easton, PA, son of Patricia (Taylor) Piperata of Palmer Twp., and the late Dominick Piperata.
Michael was married to the former Kathy M. VanSyckle, with whom he celebrated 34 years of marriage last August. He was a graduate of Easton Area High School, class of 1977. Michael was a networker for Computer Aide a sub-contractor for PPL in Allentown for many years. He also worked for EDS (Electronic Data System), and Equitable Insurance of Easton. He was an avid fisherman with his own boat and enjoyed outings at Lake Wallenpaupack and on the river with his son.
Michael was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Bethlehem.
In addition to his wife and mother, Michael is survived by a son Nicholas M. Piperata, who resides at home; and a nephew Jared Smith. Michael is preceded in death by a sister Valerie Smith.
