Michelina F. "Mickey" Perrino, 86, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Country Meadows in Forks Twp. Born on July 4, 1937 in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Ermine Gilda (LaSalvia) Tancredi. She was the wife of the late Michael H. "Ed" Perrino, Sr.
Mickey was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. Her hobbies included making crafts, bowling and painting. Professionally she tested fine art kits at Art Skills in Easton and ran a fabric store in Menlo Park NJ. Mickey loved to cook and enjoyed making homemade manicotti, Italian meatballs and struffoli. During her 61 year marriage to Ed who was in the US Air Force and stationed in Italy, Mickey had the opportunity to live for 3 years in Ostuni with children Karen and Rose learning the language and customs of a 1960's countryside town. Later in life Mickey and Ed traveled the US on a three month driving tour going coast to coast on both the southern and northern routes. She was also known to enjoy the occasional trip to the casino.
Michelina was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Karen Paey and husband James, Michael H. Perrino, Jr. and his wife, Lynne; grandchildren, Christopher, Stephanie, Vanessa, Reed, and Charlotte; great grandchildren, Ethan, Aidan, Kaylie, and Dylan.
In addition to her parents and husband, Michelina was preceded in death by her daughter, Roseann Finch and her seven siblings.
