Migdalia Ortiz, 77, of Forks Twp. passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 in St. Luke's Anderson Campus. Born in Coamo, Puerto Rico on September 21, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Sergio and Gregoria (Mateo) Miranda. She worked as a supervisor for Consolidated Laundries in Jersey City, NJ.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy in Easton, PA. She enjoyed reading and going to casinos. Migdalia was a very caring and generous person, as she faithfully gave to the American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Migdalia is survived by her son, Sergio O'Neill of Forks Twp.; daughters, Iraida Rosa of Florida; Sandra Trevejo and her husband, Mark of Forks Twp.; sister, Gladys Ortiz; brother, Sergio Miranda Garcia, grandchildren, Sergio-Michael, Melinda, Matthew, Sergio-Raul, Cynthia, Jaliece, Selena; great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Sophia, Izaiah, Sergio, Vincent, Dante; nephew, Edwin Figueroa.

In addition to her parents, Migdalia was preceded in death by a nephew, Jose Figueroa.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A funeral service will take place at 12:00 in the funeral home on Monday, March 13, 2023 followed by interment at Gethsemane Cemetery (Palmer Twp.)
