Name: Mildred R. Murgia 87 of Wilson Boro. passed away Wednesday March 25, 2009 in her home. Born: She was born on December 23, 1921, in Easton a daughter of the late Andrew and Rosaria Zito Monaco. Personal: Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Dominic on December 27, 1989. She was employed in the Bindery Department of Mack Printing retiring in 1987. Memberships: She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton. Mildred was also a member of the churchs Golden Age Society and Senior Circle. Survivors: Mildred is survived by sons Peter P. and wife Antoinette Murgia of Forks Twp., Andrew D. Murgia of Wind Gap; a daughter Josephine and husband Peter Weimer of Easton; a sister Mary Taylor of Wilson Boro.; a brother Phillip Monaco of Wilson Boro.; grandchildren Dominick, Joseph, Peter, Christopher Murgia, Michelle and Paul Weimer, Amber Murgia Prentice, Monica Murgia and great grandchildren Nicole, Joseph, Marissa, Katrina, Giavanna, Christian and Megan. Sisters Susie Patti, Nellie Hanni, Grace Misero, Jean Hanni, Ann Nehila and a brother Anthony Monaco preceded Mildred in death. Services: Calling hours will be held Friday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and Saturday morning from 9:15am until 10:15am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00am in the church, 9th and Lehigh Streets in Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
