Mildred Lois Rabbitt, 85, of Northampton, PA, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 in Sacred Heart Senior Living Hospice, in Center Valley, PA.

Mildred was born in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late James and Thelma (Steward) Rabbitt. She moved from Brooklyn to Scotch Plains, NJ in 1984, where she lived until 2015.

Mildred was a graduate of Prospect Heights High School, class of 1948. She worked at Lucent Technologies and AT&T as a secretary.

She was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, in Scotch Plains, NJ and St. Edmunds Roman Catholic Church, in Brooklyn, NY.

Mildred is survived by her brother: James Rabbitt, of Easton, and ten nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Thelma Mae Ellis on January 23, 2006.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street Easton (Palmer). An additional calling hour will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 9:00a.m. to 10:00a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30a.m. in St. Jane Frances Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp.
