Name: Mildred Millie Y. Squarcia, 94 of Wilson Boro. Passed away Wednesday June 13, 2012 in Gracedale Nursing Home, Upper Nazareth, PA. Born: She was born in Chester, PA a daughter of the late Paul and Theresa Paglia Castiglia. Personal: Millie was preceded in death by her husband Joseph A. Squarcia in 1989. Memberships: She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton. Millie was very active within St. Anthonys, serving as past president of the Sacred Heart Sodality where she was named Women of the Year, served as a collection counter, Eucharistic Minister, and member of the Pastoral Care. She also served as co-chair for the Festa Italiana, served as a Eucharistic Minister for Sacred Heart Church in Bath and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of American Easton Chapter. Survivors: Millie is survived by her daughters Lorraine R. Miller of Bath, Carol A. Shimoskie of Bath; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, sisters Florence, Josephine, Marie, Jessie, Yolanda, Fior; brothers Eugene, Paul, Andrea, Gaetano and a grandson, Gary all preceded Millie in death. Services: Calling hours will be held on Saturday morning from 8:15am until 10:15am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc. 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00am in the church. Interment will be in St. Anthonys Cemetery.
