Miriam M. Sanders of Lehighton, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 23rd in Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton.

Born : Miriam was born in Lehighton, a daughter of the late Minard and Edna Miller.

Personal: Miriam was a Registered Nurse for the Urology Associate of Easton, before retiring in 1981. She was a graduate of Easton Hospital school of Nursing in 1941. She served in the US Army Nurse Corps. during WWII.

Memberships: Miriam was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church.

Survivors: Miriam is survived by a sister Harriet Huffman of Lehighton. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Sanders, a sister Marguerite Miner, and a brother William Miller.

Services: A calling hour will be held on Friday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow the service at the Northampton Memorial Shrine.
