Muriel M. Garee Corrado, 80, of Easton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in ___.

She was born in Williamsport, PA, a daughter of the late John A. and Hope (Donnelly) Garee.

Muriel was married to Paul J. Corrado until his passing in September 2001. She attended Lycoming College; Raritan Valley Community College; and Rutgers University. She retired in 1991 as C.F.O. of Branchburg, NJ. After retiring, she worked as Claims Examiner for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of South Carolina while living in Myrtle Beach. She moved to Pocono Lake, PA after her husband's death; and later moved to Easton, PA. Throughout her life, Muriel was involved in many musical groups (school, civic, and church choirs) including the Grand Strand Choral Society in Myrtle Beach. She volunteered in a South Carolina church food bank; and for six years volunteered for Brookmont Health Care Center in Effort, PA. She enjoyed gardening, hiking, and most recently reading.

Muriel was a member of New Creation United Church of Christ in Easton.

Muriel is survived by son John Hindmarch and wife Jennifer of Easton; a daughter Donna Echevarria of Hillsborough, NJ; grandchildren Matthew Bruce, Benjamin Hindmarch, Hannah Hindmarch; great-grandchildren Matthew Bruce, Isabella Bruce; step-sons James, Kenneth, Raymond, and Paul F. Corrado; a brother Kenneth Garee of Ashford, CT; and several nieces. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother Allen Garee; and a sister Jeanne Rachal.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp), followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
