Nancy J. Varkonyi, 70, of Easton, PA passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus, surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy was born and raised in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Ernest and Margaret (Donchez) Kovacs. Nancy graduated from Easton High School, class of 1970. She worked for a short time at Falks Food Basket, in Easton. She married the love of her life, Robert J. Varkonyi, whom she just celebrated 50 years of marriage on June 10, 2022. Nancy then became a dedicated, loving and doting homemaker to her husband and daughter. Nancy's positive influence on others was admirable. She was known to be a mom and grandmother to many extended family and friends, her optimistic attitude and nurturing ways will never be forgotten and forever missed by so many.

Nancy was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, in Easton, PA. She also served as a member and president for the Easton Jr. Women's Club for many years. She enjoyed shopping, crafting, yard sales, sitting by her pool, time at the beach and most of all spending time with her family and especially her granddaughter. In addition to Nancy's love for her family and friends she had a tremendous love for her dogs Kip and Max.

Nancy is survived by her husband Robert J. Varkonyi, of Palmer Twp., a daughter Rachel Williams and her husband Chad, of Forks Twp., a granddaughter Abbey Williams, a brother Richard Kovacs and his wife Tracey, of Bethlehem, nephews Richard and Justin Kovacs, and many dear friends.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp) at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m . Additional Calling hour will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, 4049 Hartley Ave. Easton, PA, at 9:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem, PA.
