Name: Nicholas E. Klausz, 82, formerly of Bangor, passed away on Saturday, March 17th in Gracedale Nursing Home. Born: Nicholas was born on December 4, 1929 in New York City, NY, a son of the late Ignatz Klausz, Sr and Katherine Etzl Klausz. Personal: Nicholas worked for the City of Easton in the Maintenance Department, before retiring in 1986. He was a graduate of Bangor High School, class of 1948. He also served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Memberships: Nicholas was a member of St. Annes Roman Catholic Church in Bethlehem, Knights of Columbus Council 3862 of Bangor, PA and the Pope Pius XII Assembly. Survivors: Nicholas is survived by his sister Theresa Anascavage of Bangor; a brother Ignatz Klausz of Bangor; four nieces; three nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; and four great-great-nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Frances (Snoeberger) Klausz. Services: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also Wednesday from 8:00 am to 9:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 am in St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Avenue, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
