Nicholas Medina , 81, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in St. Lukes Hospital, Anderson.

Born : Nicholas was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Serafin and Hermina (Sanabria) Medina.

Personal : Nicholas was married to the former Marina Sanabria, celebrating 53 years of marriage last July 23. He was a graduate of Metropolitan High School in NYC. Nicholas was a maintenance worker for NYC Housing Authority for 28 years, before retiring in 1985. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from 1950 1953. He was an avid hunter.

Memberships : Nicholas was associated with the Palmer Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses.

Survivors : In addition to his wife, Nicholas is survived by sons Nicholas Medina Jr. and wife Elizabeth of FL, Eric Medina and wife Annemarie of Easton, Steven Medina and wife Nicole of Bangor; daughters Gloria Francis and husband Paul of FL, Patricia Medina of MA.; Cynthia Gellock and husband Richard of Easton; sisters Hedy Rosario of FL, Jenny Medina of Allentown; brothers William and Raymond Medina, both of Easton; grandchildren Danny, Holly, Valerie, Abby, Neil, Devon, Mason, Austin, Isabella, Roman, and seven great-grandchildren.

Services : Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a funeral service at 4:00 pm in the funeral home.
