Nicholas L. Sabino, 87, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 in Old Orchard Manor Care. Nicholas was born in Nazareth, PA, a son of the late Ilario and Rose (Cicero) Sabino. Nicholas was married to the former Eva Marie Salvage, with whom he celebrated 58 years of marriage last June 15. He was a steel worker for Bethlehem Steel, before retiring in 1991. He served in the US Navy during World War II. Nicholas was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, and the American Legion. In addition to his wife, Nicholas is survived by his sons Anthony Sabino and wife Judith of Coopersburg, PA, Larry Sabino and wife Patrice of Orefield, PA; a sister Frances Soffera; grandchildren Paul, John, Peter, Mark; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a sister Raphie Azzolina; brothers Joseph and Charles Giuffre. A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in St. Jane Frances Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 am in the church. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
