Ninfina (Ninfa) Alessi, 91, of Easton, PA passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Country Meadows Bethlehem. Born on September 20, 1932 in Partinico, Sicily, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Monticello) Russo.

She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Ninfa was a natural born caregiver, looking after nieces and a nephew when she was just 12 years old in Sicily, her birthplace. Above all, she loved her family and expressed that love through her amazing cooking and baking. She was a very talented seamstress, working at Joanna Dress and Lenny's in Easton. She was also very skilled in knitting and crocheting. As a cancer survivor, she put her creative passion into knitting hats for children undergoing cancer treatments.

Ninfa also enjoyed playing cards with friends and dancing with her husband, Franco, the love of her life.

Ninfa is survived by her daughters, Rosalie Jones and husband, Robert; Mary Roeckel and husband, John; grandchildren, Terri Garno and husband, Ryan; Robert Jones III and wife, Erin; JB Roeckel; Erik Roeckel; great grandchildren, Jacob and Henry Jones; Samuel, Evelyn, and Emma Rose Garno.

In addition to her parents, Ninfa was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Franco(Frank) Alessi and her six siblings.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 9:30 am until 11:00 am at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral home followed by interment at Gethsemane Cemetery (Palmer Twp.)
