Nora H. Daniel, 88, of Easton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 in Easton Hospital.

Nora was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Peter and Rashida (Merhi) Haddad.

Nora was married to Joseph M. Daniel before his passing in 1998. She was a seamstress for the former Fredwill Manufacturing, and also co-owner of Central Bar at 7th & Northampton Streets, Easton.

Nora was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, St. Theresa Sodality, and the Kfarsghab Club of Easton.

After spending most of her youth in Lebanon, Nora traveled the world with her husband making multiple trips to Australia, Lebanon, France, and the Vatican. She cherished her role as the matriarch for the Daniel/Elias and Haddad families and enjoyed the love and reverence of her family, which will be everlasting

Nora is survived by her sons Danny Daniel, George Daniel; daughters-in-law Simone Daniel, Jacqueline Daniel; grandchildren Simone, Joseph, Marina, Nicole, Susan, and Joseph; many nieces and nephews; including her caregiver Josie Jabeir. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a son Anthony Daniel; a sister Barbara Jabeir; and a brother Louis Haddad.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm with Prayer of the Incense at 8:30 pm in Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic Church, 4th & Ferry Streets, Easton, PA. An additional calling hour will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in the church. A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic Church, 4th & Ferry Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
