Norma C. Wong, 78, of Bethlehem Twp., PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 in Old Orchard Manor Care. Born: Norma was born in Guayaquil Ecuador, a daughter of the late Jose Enrique and Sabina (Erazo) Sanchez. Personal: Norma was married to Franklin Wong, with whom she celebrated 48 years of marriage last July 1st. She worked for JC Penny before retiring several years ago. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, baking and reading mysteries. Memberships: Norma was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church pf Bethlehem. Survivors: In addition to her husband, Norma is survived by sons Allen Wong and wife Jamie of Whitehall, PA, Robert Wong and wife Kelly of Philadelphia, PA; a step-son Franklin Wong Jr., and wife Andrea of Wilton, CT; step-daughters Susan Wong and companion Ira of Queens, NY, Sophia Wiessman and husband Peter of Whitethorn, CA; sisters Rosaria Almeda of Ocala, FL, Teresa Sanchez of New York, NY; a brother Johnny Sanchez of FL; grandchildren Kiana, Makena, Joshua, Gabriella, Virginia, Charlotte, Cyrus, Zoe, Julianna, and Jeremy. She is preceded in death by sisters Alexandra Sanchez, Lola Sanchez; and a brother Virgilio Sanchez. Services: A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
