Name: Norman Greger Mainer, 50, of Washington, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2010, on his way to Evergreen Medical Center, Kirkland, Washington. Born: Norman was born on July 29, 1959, a son of Lt. Colonel George W. Mainer, and the late Doris Evelyn Greger Mainer, and the grandson of the late Bryan & Maggie Mainer of Paris, Arkansas and Harry and Anna Greger of Easton, PA Personal: Greg was a person of unusual talent, especially in the field of computers. He graduated from the University of Washington at age 20. After graduation he worked at firms in several US cities. For several years he was a Vice President and a member of the management team of Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco. He traveled much of the world with his beloved wife Halle Burnham and parents. He liked to read, loved animals, was generous, and made friends easily. People were impressed with his intellect and friendship. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, his father, Uncle Harold Greger and wife Lee of Easton, PA. Aunts Oneida Yother of San Diego, CA, and Gleta Bailes of Colbert, GA, plus a number of cousins. His bright smile, quick wit and generous attitude will be missed by all. Services: Norman generously donated a portion of his earthly remains to science.
