Pasquale "Pat" C. Pecchia, 79, of Easton, PA, passed away on June 27, 2018 in his home.

Pat was born in Acerra Naples, Italy, a son of the late John and Josephine ( Barbato) Pecchia.

Pasquale proudly served in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany. He was honorably discharged.  Pat was a purchasing agent for I.T.T  until he retired in 1998. Pat enjoyed being a soccer referee for the PIAA for many years and was instrumental in organizing youth soccer in the Lehigh Valley and Pocono areas many years ago.

Pat was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, in Easton where he served as head usher for many years. He also was a member of the Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus, Liberty Hose, American Legion Lester Pfeffer post 611 and a life time member of the Republican Club, and the Fleas Club.

Pat is survived by a son, Gregory Soriano and his wife Jamie, of Fort Myers, FL, a brother Simeon Pecchia and his wife Donna, of Easton, PA, grandchildren, Mackenzie, and Mason Soriano and many nieces and nephews. In addition to Pasquale's parents he is preceded in death by a brother Mauro and a sister Dr.Teresa Pecchia.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA 18045. An additional calling hour will be held on Tuesday July 3, 2018 from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 3, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 9 ^th and Lehigh Street, Easton, PA. Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery, in Williams Township.
