Patricia Petra Holzschuh

Patricia Petra Holzschuh, 78, of Mehoopany, PA passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Holy Family Manor. Born on May 18, 1947 in Kingston, PA, she was the youngest daughter of the late John and Anna (Yurchisin) Grega.

Patricia was a graduate of Swoyersville High School. She worked as a tax collector and public notary for many years. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Wyalusing, PA. Patricia was a devout Catholic. She enjoyed reading, baking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Patricia is survived by her son, James A. Holzschuh and his wife, Donna; daughter, Lena Weaver and her husband, Matthew; grandchildren, James G. and Catherine Holzschuh; and many nieces and nephews. Patricia also leaves behind many friends and “adopted” family from her parish.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Holzschuh; sisters, Anna Dunay, Elizabeth “Betty” Kabara, and Marion Dietz; brothers, John and Peter Grega.
