Patricia Ann (Racana) Murphy met her Savior, Jesus Christ, face-to-face on August 8, 2018.

Patricia was born on June 7, 1954 in College Point, NY, the daughter of Anthony G. and Gertrude Y. Racana.  She attended St Helena's School in Bronx, NY and Woods Business School in Manhattan.  She joined Owens Illinois as a secretary and worked her way up to a District Managerial position enjoying a very successful 20-year career. In 1994, she became the Executive Assistant to David Wilkerson, founder and pastor of Times Square Church in New York City.  In 1995 she met and married Tom Murphy and moved to Bethlehem PA.  She obtained a professional Real Estates License in Pennsylvania and enjoyed a career in real estate sales.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Tom Murphy of Bethlehem PA, her step-daughter, Katherine Murphy (Patrick) Song of New York City, her grandchildren, Xavier and Vivien Song of New York City, her mother, Gertrude Racana of Lake Worth, Florida, and her sister, Toni (Ken) Sasso of Long Island, She was the loving aunt of Jonathan Egan, Zachary Egan, Tommy Sasso and Alexandra Sasso.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 11:00 am in Flushing Cemetery, 163-6 46th Ave, Flushing, NY 11358. Services will be conducted by her pastor, Larry Burd of Bethlehem PA. Patricia will be laid to rest in the cemetery with other members of her family.

Patricia was passionate about her love for Jesus.  She delighted in God's presence in her life and sought to honor Him in her life.  We, her family, rejoice in the knowledge that she rests in the arms of Jesus for all eternity.

Patricia and her husband, Tom, had and have a burden for the orphaned children of Haiti.  In lieu of flowers, friends and family are encouraged to support a special Patricia A. Murphy Memorial Fund through Child Hope Worldwide to be established at a later date.
