Born on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1964, in Easton, PA, Patti was the daughter of the late H. Eugene and Beatrice (DeFranco) Harrison. A 1982 graduate of Notre Dame High School, Patti furthered her education at Millersville University and Churchman Business School.
Patti was a devoted and deeply loving mother. She was her children’s greatest supporter, a steady presence, and loudest cheerleader; always celebrating their joys and accomplishments with pride. Her children were the center of her world—her greatest source of happiness and purpose. Her love was constant and unconditional.
Patti had a remarkable gift for making friends wherever she went – her life was defined by her giving nature and her utmost desire to see others succeed, always sharing in others’ joys. Her positive nature and ability to see the best in others made her easy to love. Patti’s generous spirit shone through in the way she always put others before herself. She greeted each day with a smile, sharing her kindness, warmth, optimism, and love with everyone around her.
Her beautiful spirit was expressed through her creativity and expertise. She helped many families create beautiful homes, serving as a talented home and kitchen designer and real estate professional. Patti was also a woman of deep faith and community spirit, active in numerous organizations.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Francis Spirk; her son, Steven Spirk and his fiancée, Christina La Gamma of Washington, D.C.; her daughter, Amelia Spirk of Bethlehem, PA; a sister, Elizabeth “Beth” Fretz and her husband, Bill of Bethlehem; and a brother, James “Jimi” Harrison of Easton.
