Name: Patricia M. Sportelli, 73, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 12th surrounded by her loving family. Born: Patricia was born on September 29, 1937 in Martins Creek, PA, a daughter of the late Stephen and Emma Wagner Bertha. Personal: Patricia and her husband Salvatore Sportelli celebrated 57 years of marriage on June 28th. She was of the Lutheran Faith. Pat was a beloved stay-at-home mom and housewife who adored her family, gardening, cooking and traveling (especially to their second home in Cape Coral Florida). She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Special thanks are extended to the staff at Brakeley Park Care for the wonderful care and compassion given to Patricia and her family. Survivors: Patricia is survived by her husband Salvatore; sons Stephen Sportelli and his wife Kathleen of Forks Twp., Scott A. Sportelli of Northampton, Gregory L. Sportelli and his wife Marie of Allentown, and Salvatore P. Sportelli and his wife Carolee of Forks Twp.; a daughter Cynthia A. Sportelli-Winterstein and her husband Jim of Chicago, IL.; a sister Christine Stanton of University Place, Washington State; eight grandchildren Courtney, Lauren, Chad, Nina, Ashley, Chezada, Joshua, and Sydney; and a great-grandchild Tyler. She is preceded in death by a brother Bernard Bertha who died in infancy. Services: Calling hours will be held on Friday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a service in the funeral home. Entombment will be at Northampton Memorial Shrine Mausoleum.
