Name: Patricia Ann Mackey Masters Verenna, 75 of Bethlehem Twp. passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday June 22, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born: She was born on August 10, 1937 in Allentown a daughter of the late Armstrong and Myrtle Merwine Mackey. Personal: Patti was a devoted homemaker, loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid doll collector and liked home decorating, especially at Christmas. Patti always loved to shop for fashionable clothes, for her family, and for her home. She loved to dance and sing and was a member of the church choir and the Lehigh Valley Chapter Sweet Adelines. She enjoyed preparing and hosting parties for family and friends; hence, she became known as Party Patti. She was a former claims/research/sales employee of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation; an accounts receivable employee in the finance department of Saucon Valley Country Club and an office manager for Holiday Sounds Mobile Entertainment Company. Memberships: She was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethlehem. Survivors: Patti is survived by her loving husband Joseph P. Verenna, Jr. of 17 years; her son Thomas Masters and wife Lynn of Bethlehem; daughters Susan Stoltz and husband Mark of Bethlehem and Kristin Hodge of Schnecksville. She is also survived by a sister Carol Boksan and husband Michael of Bethlehem and her grandchildren, Aaron Masters and wife Holly, Adam and Caitlinn Stoltz, Erik and Emily Masters and Taylor and Jordan Hodge. A son, Michael Masters preceded Patti in death. Services: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 11:00am until 1:00pm in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday at 1:00pm in the funeral home. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
