Obituary

Patrick Joseph Esposito, 59, of Easton passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023.

Born on December 3, 1963 in Somerville, NJ, he was the son of Patrick James Esposito Jr. and Joyce (Polonko) Cucci. As a youth he was active in sports, football and playing hockey for Essex County. He attended Fordham Preparatory School in New York City, after which he worked in several administrative and office jobs in the city. He continued his career as a salesman for Flying Cross Uniforms. Inspired by his Grandfather, Patrick J Esposito Sr., who was a Master Plumber and Superintendent at Somerville Water Company, he followed in his footsteps and became a plumber working for Roto-Rooter. He worked there for 20 years, training numerous employees and winning accolades for excellent service. He enjoyed teaching others and had a knack for cheering up co-workers and customers. He maximized his down time between jobs by visiting libraries, mentoring trainees or searching second-hand stores for vintage vinyl to add to his record collection.

Patrick was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. Patrick had a true passion for fishing, and the relaxation that it brings. He often could be found along the Bushkill fishing for trout and communing with others during his time off. He also loved scouring thrift stores, garage sales and flea markets for hidden treasures. He had an eye for beauty, whether finding  vintage Craftsman tools or stuffed penguins for his sons or butterflies for his wife. He could see the true value of things and the joy it could bring to others. He loved life, lived it to the fullest, was "Bad to the Bone," yet had a heart of gold filled with warmth and kindness. He had a big heart, a warm smile and was able to find joy in small things. His most treasured time was being with his family, sharing good food, good times and laughter. Patrick was known for saying, "Every day above ground is a good day, and thank you, God."

In addition to his parents, he will be truly missed by his loving wife of 32 years, Giuseppina (Manca) Esposito; sons, Patrick and Marco Esposito; step mother, Linda Esposito; brothers and their wives, Joseph (Heather) and John (Janelle), as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and the squirrels on his porch who greeted him each evening.

A viewing and visitation will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Morello Funeral Home, 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA, immediately followed by a funeral service.
