Paul Richard Varga, 84, of Easton, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.

Born on July 30, 1939 in Nixon, NJ he was a son of the late Paul Varga and the late Helen (Grober) Varga and stepson of the late Lucy (Finken) Varga. He graduated from Easton High School class of 1957. Paul served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1963. After an honorable discharge, he returned home and began work at Ingersoll Rand where he worked as a pattern maker. He would eventually become a foreman and later a supervisor. Paul retired in 1995 after 41 years of work.

Paul was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Forks Township. He was also a member of the Lehigh Valley Regional Antique Automobile Club of America. He enjoyed going to car shows with his 1936 Ford coupe. He was an avid bowler and dedicated vegetable gardener.

He is survived by his companion, Agnes Stacy; his daughters, Susan Burcaw and her husband, Jon and Holly Hillman and her husband, Robert; stepsons, Allen Reed; William Stanton; grandchildren, Shane and his wife, Hannah; Andrew and his wife, Laura; Rebecca and her fiancé, Frankie Potenzieri; Chelsea, and Robert and his wife, Ashlyn; great grandchildren, Luke and Riley. He also leaves brothers, Theodore Varga and his wife, Bertha; Carl Varga and his wife, Donna; and a sister-in-law, Elaine Varga.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Louise (Stanton) Varga and a brother, Arthur Varga.

Calling hours will be held on August 12, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11: 00 AM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Forks Cemetery.
