Andrew P. Kasarda, Ph.D, 75, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, in St. Lukes VNA Hospice House. Andrew was born in Phoenixville, PA, a son of the late Andrew and Helen (Chermak) Kasarda. Andrew was married to the former June Chiavetta, with whom he celebrated 21 years of marriage last December. He received his Bachelors from Penn State, Masters and Ph.D from Lehigh University. He was a Professor for Lehigh University and St. Francis DeSales, before retiring in 2000. In addition to his wife, Andrew is survived by a sister Helen Serrill; a brother Dennis Kasarda; grandchildren Adam, Lauren, Brandon, Kennedy, Sydney, Halle, Emily and Connor; step-children Gregory and wife Debbie Zehnder of Emmaus, Rae Anne and husband Scott DeNardo of Bethlehem, Jill and husband Gregg Ilagan of Marlton, NJ. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA.
