Philip A. Monaco, 88, of Easton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in New Eastwood Nursing Home.

Philip was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Andrea and Rosaria (Zito) Monaco.

Philip was married to the former Kimino "June" Kishihara, with whom he celebrated 64 years of marriage. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War, as Staff Sergeant. He was a Chef for Ladle Restaurant, formerly in Easton; owned several restaurants including Napoli Restaurant and My Place Lunch among others. Later in life he was employed as a machinist at Ingersoll Rand.

Philip was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Citizens Hose in Easton, and the Former Fleas Club.

In addition to his wife, Philip is survived by sons Philip Monaco of Wilson Boro, Andrew Monaco and wife Denise of Wilson Boro; a daughter Kim Rose Monaco of Wilson Boro; grandchildren Kelly Verenna, Stacey Monaco, Philip John Monaco, Cara Rodriguez, Anthony Monaco; and a great-grandchild Alessandro Rodriguez. He is preceded in death by his sisters Mildred Murgia, Susan Patti, Jean Hanni, Nellie Hanni, Ann Nehila, Grace Misero, Mary Taylor; a brother Anthony Monaco.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Friday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
