Phillip A. Sagazio, 80, of Easton, PA, passed away on June 19, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospital. He was the son of the late Carmine and Mary E. (Bubba) Sagazio. After graduating from Easton High School in 1960, he attended Churchman Business School. He served in the National Guard during Vietnam. Upon his honorable discharge, he obtained a Bachelor's Degree from both the Philadelphia School of Art and New York University for Banking.
He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Easton. Phillip worked as an artist in Santa Fe, NM and in banking securities when he lived in Manhattan. While living in New York, he was the Director of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants before retiring. He was a ceramics artist and has several installations at Scripps Institute in San Diego, CA and several other galleries in Santa Fe, NM.
Phillip is survived by his sister, Antoinette Sagazio and significant other, Joseph Balzano, of Kunkletown; brother, Alfred Sagazio, Sr. and wife, Carol, of Easton; nephews, Alfred Sagazio, Jr, and wife, Kathy, James Sagazio and wife, Ellen, Peter Sagazio and wife, Denise, & Joseph DiFilippantonio; a niece, Stephanie DiFilippantonio. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him, including his beloved dog, Ricky.
Calling hours are Friday, June 24, 2022, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A memorial service will follow in the funeral home at 11:00 am with interment after at St. Anthony's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Phillip's name may be made to The Children's Home of Easton, 2000 South 25 th St. Easton, PA 18042; St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl Memphis, TN 38105; or to the choice of the donor.
