Pia Pauline "Croce" Buffone, 96, of Berwick, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 in Commonwealth Health Berwick Retirement Village.

Pia was born on January 11, 1922 in Predazzo, Province of Trento "Tyrol" Italy, a daughter of the late Arcangelo and Maria (Pallaver) Croce.

Pia immigrated to the United States at age six in 1928, and attended schools in Predazzo Italy and in Fern Glen, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Gaetano P. "Guy" Buffone until his passing. She was a Seamstress for Milco Industries, Inc., for 26 years until retiring in 1984.

Pia was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Berwick since 1942 and a member of Tirolesi Alpini of Hazleton, PA.

Pia is survived by her son Guy Louis Buffone and wife Janice of Easton; a brother Albert Croce of Fern Glen, PA; grandchildren Anthony, Heather, Gina, Jacqueline, Patrick and Lauren; five great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law Laura Buffone of CT. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter Angelina Maria Buffone-Mack, a son Louis Angelo Buffone; a sister Clementine Flaim; and a brother Eugene Croce.

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday from 10:30 am to 11:30 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street Easton, PA (Palmer Twp), followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
